How SMS opt in works

This page documents the consent step for text messages from DetailAI.

Where consent is collected

Consumers request a quote from a participating detailing shop through the DetailAI web chat on the shop's website, or through the demo request form on detailai.ai. When the consumer enters a phone number, they are shown the consent language below next to a checkbox that is unchecked by default. No text message is sent unless the box is checked.

What the consumer receives

After opting in, the first message identifies the sender and includes opt out instructions. Example:

DetailAI: Thanks, this is Meridian Detail Studio. For a 2022 Model Y our 5 Year Ceramic is $1,850. Want me to check Saturday availability? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to end the conversation. One confirmation is sent and no further messages follow. Reply HELP or email hello@detailai.ai for assistance. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
